CSA stands for community-supported agriculture, a partnership between farmers and community members who share both the rewards and the risks of the growing season. Each year at Gibbet Hill Farm, we cultivate the highest-quality seasonal produce for the Webber Restaurant Group restaurants, and we’re thrilled to extend that experience to our community through our annual CSA program.

Our farm team focuses on growing beautiful, nutrient-dense produce using “beyond organic” practices, completely free of conventional and organic pesticides or herbicides. Each week’s share reflects the natural rhythms of the season: some crops may be limited, others abundant, and occasionally shareholders can supplement their weekly share with a variety of pick-your-own items right from the field.

CSA pickups take place on Thursdays between 2pm and 6pm.

By joining a CSA, members enter into an honest partnership with the farmer:
when the farm thrives, the share thrives; when crops struggle, members share in that challenge as well. It’s a model rooted in transparency, trust, and a deep connection to local agriculture.

FAQs

WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE WHAT’S IN MY SHARE?
Becoming a CSA member is an adventure!  We won’t know exactly what will be in your share until the day we are harvesting. We recommend sharing with your friends, family, or neighbors if you don’t like something that is in your share.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LATE OR MISS PICKING UP MY SHAREIf you know you can’t come to pick up, we would be grateful if you could notify us. If you are late picking up, the share will stay in the distribution area overnight.  If the farm team arrives the next morning, and there are any shares that haven’t been picked up, we will donate the share to a family in need.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO PICK UP?
Each week your share will be in a box with your name on it.  We will provide two boxes per member, so we ask that each week you return your box from the previous week when you pick up for the current week.  Some members prefer to bring a reusable bag and take the contents of their box that way. That is fine too!

CAN SOMEONE ELSE PICK UP MY SHARE?
Yes. We don’t need to know that someone else will pick up your share! If they are not familiar with our CSA, please ask them to read these Frequently Asked Questions.

EXAMPLES OF HARVESTS BY MONTH

*Please note, this is not a menu of what will be in your share, but a guideline as to what we are forecasting to harvest these months and what you might see in your share in the corresponding months.  As a reminder, our crops are dependent on the weather and soil conditions and your share will reflect that each week.
