Registration is now open for the 2026 Young Farmer’s Club!
Our newest Field School program: the GHF Young Farmer’s Club, a hands-on, eight-week farming adventure just for kids! Young farmers will prepare farm plots at Gibbet Hill Farm, plant seeds, care for their crops, harvest the vegetables, and more! A perfect way to dig in, get your hands dirty, and learn where food comes from!
This program is designed for children ages 10yo-13yo*.
The program runs for 8 weeks in the summer on Tuesdays at 9am, culminating in a farm-to-fork lunch for the final workshop featuring some of the fresh ingredients they nurtured.
Each student will receive a Gibbet Hill Farm Field School tote and a Young Farmer’s Club t-shirt.
Cost for this workshop program is $200.00
Enrollment is limited, to maintain the highest quality experience for each student. Classes will run for approximately 60-90 minutes. Students should wear farm-appropriate clothing and shoes. Work/garden gloves are also encouraged if students prefer to work in the dirt with them. Hats or caps are recommended.
*All students are required to be accompanied by an adult.
